The design of ABS PV Automatic type High Velocity Pressure and Vacuum Valve is approved according to IMO - MSC/Circ. 677/1009 and fully complies with ISO 15364. The type is also approved by IACS member classification societies according to IMO - MSC/Circ. 677/1009 and carries CE (wheelmark) certificate from LR.
Different combinations of housing and internal material exist, to be chosen according to the type of the vessel or the cargo to be carried. Details of material are given in product technical specifications. Pressure and vacuum capacities are also determined according to the type of the vessel and all calculations regarding pressure drop and VECS documentation are accomplished in-house by the ABS PV design and project teams. The reliability of each design is guaranteed by the leading classification societies, from which the company holds type approval certificates.
